End of year progress update

Hey everyone! Since the year is ending, I thought it is a good time to post an update about the game! I was hoping to finish it in the holidays but with me tabling in a con and just general end-of-year business, I end up not finishing it in time.🙇 I'm aiming for an early 2024 release, though! 

Progress of the game right now is
Sprites, background.......80%
CGs.....70%
Writing......40%

I always do the writing last although the general outline is pretty much done...I apologize again for the wait but I think the delay would help me create a better experience overall! Taking in the input from my last post, I'll release the full game in one go since the demo will pretty much just cover the first half of the game.

This time, Alicia's roped into some haunted theater business...rumors say that the theater's most beautiful always vanish without a trace?
Is something supernatural really on play? 

A new face will also help our main duo this time.....kind of. You'll see.

Also some other updates on the overall state of the game,
- Case 3 would be shorter since it will connect directly to case 4. I'll put some preview on the end of case 2! 
- Some things in Case 1 is no longer consistent with the overall plot so some things will be revised. 
- Since it's not made for a gamejam this time, I'm also thinking of recruiting testers alongside with asking for my friends to test it. More information about this will be published later but hopefully this will reduce the amount of bugs on release day!
