The part where Alicia says ''i made it on time'' makes me think back to the first game's bad end where after getting stabbed she meets someone that was waiting for her? like a friend maybe? and the mention of the dried flower she was gifted and the mysterious hotel murders. It makes me think the same person that she met gave her the flower and died, and Alicia felt guilty somehow...
I always forget to comment, but this game and the rest in its series are genuinely some of the most interesting and captivating games I've played in a long while... I absolutely love your way of storytelling through dialogue and smaller interactions with things that could go unnoticed. The spritework is also gorgeous, the colors in them (and in the general areas) are very pleasing to look at... All of these characters are really interesting, plus the snippits of lore leave me wanting more... I can't wait to see what comes next!!
First off, beautiful cover art! This gagged me when I first saw it. The way the art looks crisp and clean is just *chef's kiss* amazing. Thank you, Moroo for making this!
Second, the story is beautifully done and everything pieces together perfectly like a puzzle, like the motives, the plot twist, everything. I hope to learn more about Beaford and Alicia's backstory in the next episodes, I've actually kept a list of theories of what I believe is gonna happen or what has happened in the past (I'm not that confident about them lmao) And the gameplay was kinda easy enough for me to get through the first time. I think I had to go to the walkthrough to find the answer to the temperature in one of the rooms.
Third, Alicia and Beaford are amazing as always! One of my favorite moments from this game was when Beaford was like "Oh, isn't that because- ...Actually, I'll leave that to you to figure out." like he knew what Alicia is but wanted her to figure out for herself. And I love the new cast of characters too (might've fallen for Caspian right off the bat. We're not talking about that though-). I was convinced that Itou was bad at first but now... I'm okay with him now but skeptical. Everyone else was amazing.
Fourth, the endings was shocking to watch the first time. I'm gonna go vague in case there's people who haven't played it. My favorite part of it was when Alicia caught the actress when she fell. I'm actually went from my desk where the game was all the way to the other side of my room, wishing that was me (I love Alicia, leave me be) Also, I never knew that the universe of Symbiosis and Silver Thread was connected in some way, that's a awesome twist.

changed my life. i never thought a yuri manga would be so essential to a paranormal investigation.
there were typos and bugs (beaford not following alicia in the last sequence of the good ending) but it's not that glaring of an issue! learning that beaford was half chinese improved my experience greatly as a chinese person, 10/10 i am genuinely so invested in the lore and the characters thank you Spicaze me and my friend will be rotating this game in our brain alongside Married in Red

I am once again firmly hooked by the dynamic between Alicia and Beauford, and the premise in general. There's something about how you always integrate human nature with the supernatural in these mysteries that never fails to tickle my fancy. Plus, the more we see of these characters the more you're growing the world as well! Excited to see where things go from here if you choose to continue on with another entry!
after all my thesis work was done, I finally had time to check this out. Dont regret it at all, very fun! I do have to say mechanics of requirements to pass were a tad bit too complicated. For example, SPOILER, i dont think answering itous question should cost that many points END SPOILER. I did first few runs perfectly but never managed to get good ending and i was so confused lol but that thing apparently kept negating my efforts. Overall, gotta say, a great thing!! I was legitimately spooked and completely in it, esp at the beginning!
i also find it incredibly funny i finally got time to get into these series when pride month started :" I will be so excited to follow along though and also play through everything else by you!!
i love this series so far, alicia and beaford have such a silly and unique dynamic. im so invested in the story already and excited to learn more about the characters especially alicia. i really cant wait for the next part, awesome work!

I still prefer the portraits in the first episode, but the cinematics in this one are more interesting and the new art style is such a massive improvement it tells the story even better.
So far, the story of Silver Thread is super engaging! I'm very excited for the next episode. I'm still very curious about Alicia's past.
